Free holiday crochet patterns for Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day and Hanukkah – the largest collection on this site. Seasonal decorations are mostly small, quick makes, which means you can produce a whole coordinated set over a few evenings rather than committing to a single long project.
For Christmas there are snowflake and star tree ornaments, cable and fair isle stockings, spiral trees, lace angel tree toppers and mini stocking advent garlands. Halloween covers ghost garlands, spiderweb doilies, pumpkin trios, bat buntings, witch hat decorations and wreaths. Thanksgiving brings cornucopia centrepieces, acorn and oak leaf garlands and turkey coaster sets, and there are heart coasters for Valentine's Day and blue star ornaments for Hanukkah.
Most of these are beginner and advanced beginner level and work up in one to three hours each. Holiday decorations get packed away and unpacked for years, so they are worth making in a hard-wearing yarn: cotton and acrylic both hold their shape and colour far better in storage than wool, which is vulnerable to moths over a long off-season.
